MASTER HONG'S TAE KWON DO AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM

After School Tae Kwon Do:
Welcome to Master Hong's Tae Kwon Do Martial Arts Education Center. Our staff is looking forward to an action-packed, fun-filled school year.

You, as a parent, love your child and you will do many things to make your child happy and lives better. Master Hong's Tae Kwon Do After School program helps your child build self-confidence, and improve self-discipline, positive attitude, learn practical self-defense and sense of respect; also, develop their daily study habits, and help your child stay healthy and live better.

Master Hong's Tae Kwon Do After School is committed to teaching the highest quality martial arts instruction to our children. Our staff is chosen carefully and trained to provide our participants with a fun and supportive atmosphere where everyone can learn new skills, make friends, and most importantly, gain self-confidence. Attending our program is a growing experience and children will never forget their experiences with us. We truly want your child to become AN EXCELLENT KID.

The after school program provides transportation from your children's schools in Gilbert and Chandler, AZ. And they offer specialized Tae Kwon Do training. The classes focus on getting in shape learning self defense improve discipline and self-control building self esteem & self-confidence, self esteem, and academic motivation.

After school Daily Itinerary

2:15pm to 3:00pm pick up your child from their school.

3:00pm til 3:20pm snack time.

3:30pm to 4:20pm Read a Book, Homework or Worksheets

4:30pm til 5:20pm Tae Kwon Do class.

5:30pm to 6:30pm parent pick up.

Free time is spent doing homework or spent playing in the special computer room or reading a book in the library.

GOALS:

Tae Kwon Do is the Korean martial Art of self-defense. It is designed as a non-violent art that includes physical techniques, mental discipline, and a deep philosophy. Our mission at Master Hong's Tae Kwon Do After School is to provide a quality comprehensive after school program, where students can accomplish certain goals and benefit in areas such as physical fitness (coordination, flexibility, and muscular strength), self-discipline (concentration, self-control, and respect), self-defense (awareness), self-confidence (self-esteem), also improve motor skills and develop social skills.

Our special program was created for working parents who look for quality after school care, where children can learn Tae Kwon Do and reap from its benefits. However, Our After School Program is not a day care program.

After school program cost:

5 Days a Week

$69 per week / full year enrollment

$74 per week / 1/2 year enrollment

$79 per week / bi-weekly enrollment

3 Days a Week

$59 per week / full year enrollment

$64 per week / 1/2 year enrollment

15% off for second child

25% off each additional child

Mon thru Fri (2:00pm to 6:30pm) The program includes transportation from your child's school to ours, Tae Kwon Do training, and dedicated supervision of your children.

Registration Fee and Uniform:

All new students should pay a registration fee of $49. All new students receive a Tae Kwon Do uniform, which includes a pair of white pants, and a white Jacket.

Teacher Workdays:

When public schools are closed for teacher workdays, Master Hong's Tae Kwon Do After School is OPEN from 7:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. for an all day program. Best of all, there is NO EXTRA CHARGE for this all-day program.

NOTES: It does NOT include Federal Holidays in which the Master Hong's Tae Kwon Do After School is open. There is additional fee $25 per day for all day program. (7:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.) Also, it does not include special field trip entrance fees, such as rollerskating, swimming pool or bowling galaxy, the museums, the movie cinema, the zoo and more.

SPRING & WINTER BREAKS: All Day Program

The cost of all day program:
$ 95 (Three days per week from 7:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.)
$125 (Five days per week from 7:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.)
$ 35 per Day

20% off for second child

30% off each additional child

Snacks and Lunches: Many Children are picky eaters so parents should pack a snack/lunch and drink; or provide money to buy wholesome snacks at the School or on the trips. Children will have a snack/meal break every three hours.

Drop-off and Pick-up Times: Student drop off for Winter or Spring Break and Summer Camp is 7:30 am to 9:00 am. Children can be picked up at late as 6:30 p.m.

Tuition and Registration Fee: Cost is $125 per week (for five days per week) and $95 (For three days per week). The registration fee $49. This fee includes a Tae Kwon Do uniform which is pair of pants and a jacket.

SUMMER CAMP ALL DAY PROGRAM

Master Hong's Tae Kwon Do After School Summer Camp focuses on providing children an achievement oriented physical and mental activity program during the summer months. Summer camp program is available to Children and Youth from age 4 to 14 Year olds.

Summer Camp Activities: Master Hong's Tae Kwon Do After School will keep children’s bodies and minds active! Staff will also direct the children through many group and individual games and activities on a daily basis. It is fun, exciting, and educational!

Learn Martial Arts Self-Defense
Fun Mini-Olympic Games
Endurance Games
Educational Games and extra
Reading time and personal journal
Arts and crafts projects
And more!

SUMMER FUN!!!

Two or three times each week, the children will participate in field trips that will include:

Swimming pool, Rollerskating, Bowling Galaxy, Movie Theater, Indoor amusement park, and more!

Children will be taught stances, kicking, punching, strikes, free sparring techniques, Tae Kwon Do Forms (combinations of movement), and self defense skills.

Also, children will learn to develop their motor skills with endurance activities and proper teamwork by cooperating with others.

An additional field trip fee is charged for each trip in which student participates. Fees vary based on activity. A one-time registration fee of $49.00 is required for all new students not currently enrolled in Master Hong's Tae Kwon Do After School Program or TaeKwonDo Classes. This fee includes a Tae Kwon Do Uniform.

2011-2012 AFTER SCHOOL TAE KWON DO PROGRAM CLOSING POLICIES

There will be an after school program on most major holidays when school is not in session. There will be a full day program during winter, spring and summer vacations, as well as days off during Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years breaks; Memorial Day, 4th of July, and Labor Day. If your child's school is closed for a holiday, there will be an after school program on that day (see schedule of openings). We follow the schedule for the Gilbert Public Schools and Chandler Unified School District calendars. Students are still encouraged to attend evening classes if school is not in session (especially over holiday vacations).
